Entry Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • International applicants must meet the Academy's admission requirements. A valid student visa permitting study in Australia is required before commencing the course in Australia.
  • Optimum Academy does not provide immigration advice. Applicants should refer to the Australian Department of Home Affairs or a registered migration agent for visa advice.
  • Sound language, literacy, and numeracy skills (at least Year 10 English, or equivalent)
  • Basic computer skills
  • English Proficiency: IELTS 5.5 (no band < 5.0) or equivalent (PTE 43, TOEFL 46)

Vocational Placement

A minimum of 400 hours of vocational placement within a registered community service centre. This includes specific requirements for CHCCSM013 and CHCDEV005 (100 hours each).
